Warriors ‘Klay Thompson’ will not play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals
The 29 years-Basketball-Player Klay Thompson will not play in Game 3 of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals. Veteran guard Shaun Livingston will be replaced in his place.
The status of The Golden Warriors guard remained uncertain 3 days after he sustained a mild left hamstring strain. Klay Thompson had been listed as questionable and he was evaluated by the training staff before tipoff. He did some running and shooting earlier in the day but Kerr said that the Warriors weren’t going to play him:
“if there’s a risk.”
Toronto Raptors and the two-time defending champion Warriors have tied 1-1 in the best-of-seven series. Klay has averaged 19.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists this postseason, including 23.0 points through the first two finals games.
